Anadolu Isuzu is getting ready to leave its mark with new medium-size coach and bus models produced by Anadolu Isuzu engineering at the IAA Transportation fair, organized in Hannover Germany, between September 20-25, 2022. Besides the 100% electric Big.e model that will completely be produced in Turkey and represents a new segment that will change the rules of the game in the sector, Anadolu Isuzu will exhibit the CitiVOLT 12m at the fair. The company will also take part in the event with fully electric NovoCiti VOLT and 100% biogas compatible alternative fuel Kendo 13 CNG, as well as the Isuzu Grand Toro, its medium-size segment bus model
Turkey’s commercial vehicle brand Anadolu Isuzu continues to support its growth trend in foreign markets as well as in Turkey, with international events. Anadolu Isuzu will take part with its new vehicles at the IAA Transportation fair, considered among the most important international events of the commercial vehicle industry, that will be held in Hannover, Germany between September 20-25, 2022. During the IAA Transportation, bringing together the world’s other leading commercial vehicle brands and sub-industry manufacturers besides Anadolu Isuzu, the company will introduce its new Big·e and CitiVOLT 12m models developed by Anadolu Isuzu engineers, as well as the fully electric NovoCiti VOLT, alternative fuel Kendo 13 CNG and the Isuzu Grand Toro addressing the medium-size bus segment.
Big·e: 100 percent electric, eco-friendly and compact benefit for the transport sector
Anadolu Isuzu transfers its 40 years of truck development experience to last kilometer transportation with Big-e. Leading the industry with its robust and reliable models, Anadolu Isuzu brings big dreams together for the future in the form of a small vehicle. The launch of Big·e, the new 100% electric model as the outcome of Isuzu quality standard and Anadolu Isuzu engineering, will take place for the first time at the IAA Transportation fair. Produced entirely in Turkey with the vision of a signature for the future in transportation solutions, Big.e stands out with its compact structure and innovative electric engine. In addition to a carrying capacity of up to 1000 kg, Big·e has a carrying volume of up to 4 cubic meters. It offers a range of up to 150 kilometers with its 20% climbing ability and 3 different battery capacities, 10-15-20 kWh.
The Big·e, which has two versions that can reach a maximum speed of 60 km/h and 80 km/h, can be charged in 3 to 5 hours, even with a direct home socket such as a mobile phone. The Big e, which will be produced at the Anadolu Isuzu factory in accordance with Anadolu Isuzu quality standards and will be offered to the market primarily for the needs of companies engaged in last mile transportation, presents a significant advantage especially in terms of the total cost of ownership.
Big·e is planned to be available for sale as of 2024.
CitiVolt: Zero emissions for a sustainable future
Anadolu Isuzu took its electric product experience, which started with the NovoCiti VOLT model, to the next level and added the fully electric 12m CitiVOLT to its portfolio. Providing all-electric driving with zero emissions, the CitiVOLT will be among the vehicles to be introduced at the IAA Transportation fair this year. In addition to its superior features such as its brand-new design, state-of-the-art equipment and zero emissions, it offers unhindered access for passengers thanks to its low-floor platform and wide entrance and exit doors. Fully electric NovoCiti VOLT: Environmentally friendly, rational and quiet public transportation
The electric medium-size coach NovoCiti VOLT, designed by Anadolu Isuzu in accordance with the public transportation trends of the future, will also appear at the IAA Transportation fair with its eye-catching design and technological equipment. NovoCiti VOLT, which was awarded in the “Transportation” category in the global design competition ABC Design Award, successfully meets the current world standards in the of electric medium-size coach segment. The environmentally friendly NovoCiti VOLT, which has been developed for the protection of nature for a sustainable life, stands out with its low operating costs and maximum efficiency advantages. Providing a comfortable travel atmosphere to its passengers with its spacious and comfortable interior design, NovoCiti VOLT offer a range of up to 350 km with its 268 kWh high-performance battery capacity. Thanks to the driver scoring system of the vehicle, operational efficiency can be achieved by reducing energy consumption.
Isuzu Kendo CNG, winner of the “Sustainable Bus of the Year” award
Kendo 13 CNG, one of the assertive models Anadolu Isuzu will introduce at the IAA Transportation fair, easily responds to the low emission, comfortable, safe and sustainable transportation demands of modern cities. Fully compliant with Europe’s rigorous emission norms, Kendo 13 CNG makes a difference with its fleet management, driver and driving scoring system features as well as a complete safety package. Owing to its 100% biogas compatible CNG engine, the Isuzu Kendo CNG reduces its emissions very significantly. Moreover, it also makes a positive contribution to its operator and fully complies with the sustainable goals of the countries, thanks to its sustainability.
The award-winning Grand Toro
Isuzu Grand Toro, the medium-size coach segment model which will be introduced by Anadolu Isuzu at the IAA Transportation fair, offers high performance and low emission advantage accordance with Euro 6 emission standards with its engine producing 206 HP at 2300 rpm. in Standing out with its high maneuverability, especially in areas such as short and medium distance service, touristic and airport transportation, the Grand Toro model was developed to meet the need for short and medium distance transportation, where large buses are not efficient and effective enough, with its capacity of up to 37 seats, spacious interior and large luggage offerings. Grand Toro, which also represents Anadolu Isuzu’s new design language, was deemed worthy of the ‘Silver A’ award in the ‘Product Design – Mobility’’ category in 2021, at the BIG SEE Awards, an Italy-based design awards organization.
