Almighty Auto Ancillary’s global ascent: Unveiling wiper system expertise at Busworld Europe

Almighty Auto Ancillary Pvt. Ltd. unveiled their diverse product range at Busworld Europe 2023, with a primary focus on showcasing their expertise in complete wiper systems. Managing Director Gunmeet Singh Mago expressed the company’s goal, stating, “Our expectation from the exhibition is to try and get our foot in the door with some coach builders or OEMs or bus manufacturers. Wherever we can make a start, so that’s the main agenda for having our presence here at the show.”

Gunmeet provided a comprehensive overview of the displayed offerings, stating, “Our capability lies in complete wiper systems. Our display shows a bouquet of offerings right from the pantograph-type viper systems, and the motors.” He emphasized the company’s technological edge, noting, “We are manufacturers of the complete wiper system under one roof, right from the design. We work with bus manufacturers or OEMs, designing the complete wiper system based on country-specific or model-specific requirements.”

As the focus shifted to Almighty Auto Ancillary Pvt. Ltd.’s overseas presence, Gunmeet highlighted their export-oriented approach since the company’s founding in 2004. “We have always been export-forward, catering to segments in the U.S., with almost 65% of our business coming from there,” he added. Gunmeet underscored the company’s vertical integration, self-reliance, and backward integration, emphasizing their ability to manufacture everything in-house, providing quicker solutions and meeting customer requirements.

Detailing the company’s manufacturing and R&D capabilities, he explained, “Our R&D is completely based in India, and we are self-reliant on it. We have a good, strong team, and our plant, just outside Mumbai, houses all our manufacturing under the same location.” He further discussed the significant capacity growth, stating, “We have invested in infrastructure, land, and machinery to increase our capacities by almost 50% in the last two years, ensuring we have spare capacities to cater to growing markets.”

On the customization aspect, Gunmeet added, “We work in a very customized manner, designing each wiper system for a particular vehicle. However, certain products like wiper blades or wiper motors have a level of standardization.” Addressing certification for the European market, he affirmed, “All these products are already certified to Indian standards and some to North American standards. We are in the process of certifying some more to European standards.”
