Voith Turbo Division Rebrands as Driventic, Showcases Future-Ready Portfolio at Busworld 2025

The Voith Turbo Commercial Vehicles Division, which will officially begin operating as an independent company under the name Driventic from November 1, 2025, is currently making its first public appearance at Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels. With this international showcase, Driventic is introducing its new brand identity and future product portfolio to the global commercial vehicle industry.

“Busworld Europe is our most important trade fair for the commercial vehicle industry. We are therefore especially pleased to present Driventic here for the first time under the new brand name and give customers, partners and suppliers an initial impression of our future identity,” said Dr. Gregor Wiche, CEO Commercial Vehicles (soon to be Driventic).

Driving the mobility transition
Driventic positions itself globally as a specialist for efficient drive technologies in the commercial vehicle industry and an active driver of the mobility transition. Under the brand claim “Mobility beyond today”, the company is showcasing its next-generation portfolio designed for trucks, buses, and off-highway applications.

Backed by 1,400 employees at 27 locations in 19 countries, Driventic is pursuing an ambitious vision of mobility that leaves no trace – except progress. The company’s solutions combine ecological responsibility with technological advancement, enabling manufacturers and operators to achieve sustainable operations.

Portfolio highlights
Driventic’s offering builds on Voith’s legacy of proven drive solutions, further refined for the future. Key products on display at Busworld Europe include:

  • VEDS and VEDS 1.5 – integrated electrical drive systems with HD motor and inverter technology.
  • DIWA NXT – the next generation of the legendary DIWA automatic transmission, delivering higher efficiency and lower fuel consumption.
  • Additional solutions – retarders, air compressors, the TurboCompound transmission, and Hydrodamp vibration dampers.

“Above all, we are pushing forward the development of electrical drive systems while also securing and expanding our strong position in conventional technologies. This dual approach allows us to provide customers with future-proof products across both areas,” added Dr. Wiche.

With its upcoming independence, Driventic gains the agility to respond more quickly to market dynamics while maintaining the professionalism of a global player. The company is well positioned to take mobility to the next level together with its partners worldwide.
