UNVI Presents Latest Innovation in Urban Bodywork, the C26, at Busworld Europe 2025

Spanish coachbuilder UNVI is showcasing the C26, its latest innovation in urban bodywork, at Busworld Europe 2025, currently taking place in Brussels from October 4–9. Designed to become a new icon of public transport, the C26 blends functionality, distinctive design and sustainability to create a vehicle that is both practical and memorable.

Developed with the award-winning design studio Héctor Serrano, the C26 offers operators maximum flexibility. It supports low-entry (LE) and low-floor (LF) configurations and is compatible with electric, gas, diesel and hydrogen powertrains, making it an adaptable solution for diverse operational needs.

Inside, the C26 is crafted with both drivers and passengers in mind. The driver’s area maximises comfort and visibility, while the passenger space integrates sustainable and recycled materials, lightweight construction for energy efficiency, and soft textures, warm tones and refined lighting to create a welcoming atmosphere.

“Passengers should look forward to getting on board – that was our guiding vision for the C26,” said a UNVI spokesperson. “It represents a new character in urban transport – functional, flexible and sustainable, while delivering an experience that people remember.”

A Trusted European Coachbuilder

The C26 highlights UNVI’s innovative spirit, but the company’s foundations are equally strong. With three factories and more than 30 years of expertise, UNVI is one of Europe’s most versatile coachbuilders, offering a portfolio that spans seven families – SIL, i23, C, S, M, L, XL – covering double-deckers, tourist coaches, city buses, minibuses and van conversions.

UNVI’s financial performance reflects its resilience and growth trajectory. Turnover has increased from €18 million to an expected €42 million in 2025, a 134% rise in five years, with a forecast of €57 million in 2026. Backed by a healthy balance sheet and virtually no long-term liabilities, the company is positioned for sustainable expansion.

Built on values of safety, environmental protection, teamwork, proactivity, rigour and quality, UNVI continues to add value for both operators and chassis manufacturers, providing reliable, innovative and European-made bodywork.

With the C26 as its newest flagship, UNVI is reaffirming its mission to shape the future of mobility while maintaining its reputation as a trusted, forward-looking partner for the transport industry.
