The Tamilnadu Automobile And Allied Industries Federation (TAAIF) inaugurated its new building in Madurai on February 1, 2026, marking a significant milestone in its journey. On the same day, the new building of The Tamilnadu Motor Parts Dealers Association in Madurai was also formally opened.
Mr. S. Ramachandran, Director, Speed -A-Way Private Limited, Chennai, was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the TAAIF building. Mr. K.A. Chithambaram, President, The Tamilnadu Motor Parts Dealers Association, inaugurated TNMPDA building in the presence of Mr. M.K. Venkatachalam, Managing Director, Andavar & Co, Namakkal.
The event was also attended by Mr. Vijay Veera Raghavan, Vice President, TVS Automobile Solutions Private Limited, and Mr. V.R. Ravichandran, Assistant Vice President, TVS Automobile Solutions Private Limited, among other dignitaries.
Speaking exclusively to the magazine, Mr. A. Gopalakrishnan, President, TAAIF, described the occasion as a proud and historic moment. “This is not just a brick-and-mortar structure. It represents over 44 years of hard work, unity, and commitment of our members. It is a symbol of our identity,” he said.
He further added, “The new building will inspire the next generation and encourage them to continue the good work that TAAIF has been doing all these years.”
According to him, the facility will be used for various activities, including association meetings, student education initiatives, medical camps, and other welfare programmes for members and the community.
Several key office-bearers of TAAIF, including Vice Presidents Mr. N. Nagarajan and Mr. K. Varadarajan, Secretary Mr. S.V. Thangam, Joint Secretary Mr. D. Chidambaram, Treasurer Mr. R.V. Ramanathan, Building Committee Chairman Mr. V.M. Rajeswaren, and Finance Committee Chairman Mr. P. Murugesan, attended the event.
