Ritco Logistics Inducts 100 Specialised Trucks to Drive Steel and Infrastructure Logistics

Ritco Logistics has inducted 100 newly customised heavy-duty fleets dedicated to the steel and infrastructure sector. The company has deployed these fleets from its Odisha Fleet Centre at Kalinganagar, a major steel manufacturing hub, to meet rising demand from leading steel producers and industrial players. The newly inducted 40-ft customised side-body vehicles are designed to transport steel coils, TMT bars and sheets.

The expansion aligns with Government of India initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti, the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP), Bharatmala, Sagarmala, Dedicated Freight Corridors, metro rail expansion and renewable energy projects. The deployment strengthens first-mile connectivity from the steel hub, enabling faster dispatch, reduced idle time and dedicated operational supervision.

The BS6-compliant vehicles are equipped with advanced telematics, 24×7 GPS-enabled monitoring, route optimisation and safety tracking, reinforcing Ritco’s industry-focused 3PL strategy.

Dr. Rajesh Mudialiar, Chief Business Officer, Ritco Logistics, said, “India’s infrastructure growth is entering a decisive execution phase, and steel movement today demands precision, compliance and speed. With this dedicated fleet, we are strengthening our ability to deliver specialised, technology-enabled logistics solutions that align with the operational scale and urgency of India’s leading steel and infrastructure players.”
