Founder Małgorzata Bieniaszewska tells Rajesh Rajgor ahead of her two-week India visit to strengthen OEM partnerships and boost the Make-in-India push.

Emerging from its strong European roots, MB Group is fast expanding its footprint in India. Known globally for its precision-engineered brass and pneumatic push-to-connect fittings for commercial vehicles and industrial systems, the company is now setting the stage for a new phase of local manufacturing and customer engagement on Indian soil.
At the heart of this momentum is Małgorzata Bieniaszewska, the Founder and CEO of MB Group, who will be traveling across India this November on a two-week business visit covering Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, and New Delhi. The visit aims to strengthen ties with existing OEM customers, explore new partnerships, and align on upcoming contracts for the Indian and broader Asian markets.
“India’s commercial vehicle market is expected to see moderate growth in FY2026 after a flat FY2025. The key drivers will be infrastructure development, construction recovery, and fleet replacement demand, particularly from state transport undertakings for buses,” she, explains. “The e-bus segment, in particular, is a bright spot; propelled by policy support and environmental priorities. However, the challenge of imported components continues to slow down localization, and that’s where MB Group’s next chapter begins.”

Building Capacity in Jamnagar
MB Group’s next major milestone will be its production capacity expansion at Jamnagar, planned for 2026. The upgraded facility will handle the complete manufacturing process for pneumatic push-to-connect fittings used in braking and air suspension systems of commercial vehicles, buses, and tractors.
The expansion follows several new contracts with leading Indian OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. The company plans to invest in additional CNC automatic lathes, increasing both precision and production flexibility. With this, MB Group will move toward full assembly in India, significantly reducing lead times, minimizing import dependence, and supporting the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
“We see India not just as a market but as a strategic manufacturing and innovation hub. The Jamnagar site will help us serve OEMs faster, more sustainably, and with the same quality standards that define MB Group globally,” says Małgorzata.

Deepening Partnerships with Indian Bus OEMs
Another focus area for MB Group is the bus segment, where discussions are underway with JBM Auto, PMI, and Switch Mobility. The collaborations aim to supply high-quality pneumatic connectors and assemblies optimized for electric bus applications, where safety, durability, and locally sourced components play a crucial role.
The Jamnagar plant will become a key assembly hub supporting these partnerships; enabling Indian OEMs to access global-standard quality backed by local responsiveness.

Strengthening Asia Through India
Beyond India, MB Group is consolidating its presence across Vietnam and South Korea, leveraging India as a production and logistics base for the wider Asian market. This aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of combining European engineering expertise with localized manufacturing excellence to serve regional OEMs more efficiently and sustainably.
Małgorzata’s upcoming India visit symbolizes MB Group’s philosophy of staying close to customers, understanding their needs firsthand, aligning on technology, and creating long-term trust.
“We believe in meeting people, understanding their challenges, and growing together. For us, this journey is not just about business; it’s about building relationships that last,” she shares.
The Road Ahead
As India’s commercial vehicle industry moves deeper into electrification and modernization, MB Group’s commitment to local production, technology investment, and customer collaboration will be key differentiators.
With a growing customer base, a fully equipped Jamnagar facility on the horizon, and strong leadership at the helm, MB Group is positioning itself not merely as a supplier; but as an integral part of India’s next chapter in commercial vehicle evolution.
