When TII India, part of the global Transporter Industry International Group, set out to raise the reliability of its trailers and heavy-duty transporters, it needed more than just components. The team was searching for fittings that could guarantee zero leakage, faster assembly, and local support for India’s toughest projects. That search led them to MB Pneumatyka (MBP) in late 2023. What began as a supplier evaluation has quickly turned into a long-term engineering partnership; one built on product precision, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to local availability.

The Conversation
On behalf of MOTORINDIA, Rajesh Rajgor spoke with Miguel Fernandes, Managing Director, TII India Private Limited, and Malgorzata Bieniaszewska, Founder & CEO of MB Pneumatyka, to explore how the partnership has strengthened TII’s operations in India and how it is shaping the future of the commercial vehicle industry.

To begin with, could you share what prompted TII India to explore MBP fittings in the first place?
Miguel Fernandes (MF): For us, reliability is non-negotiable. Our trailers and modular transporters are used in demanding applications where even a minor leakage can lead to costly downtime and adversely impact on customer satisfaction. We were evaluating solutions that could give us not just high-quality fittings, but also confidence in long-term performance. MBP’s reputation in Europe and their willingness to support us locally in India made us take the first step.
What were some of the initial benefits or improvements you noticed after adopting MBP fittings?
MF: The first and most important was zero leakage. Our assembly teams also noticed faster installation compared to some other fittings. Over time, we have seen this reducing rework, saved assembly time, and improved the overall robustness of our machines. Beyond the product itself, MBP’s engineers were actively available to guide us, which gave us confidence that we had a partner who understood our challenges. On top of that, their R&D team provides 2D and 3D drawings right on the spot, which speeds up our design process and eliminates guesswork.
How important is local stock and support in India for you?
MF: Extremely important. In our business, a delay in sourcing the smallest component can hold back delivery of a multimillion-euro machine. With MBP’s India presence, we don’t just get fittings on time but also receive technical support in our own time zone. That is a huge advantage for us and for our customers.

From MBP’s side, what made TII India an ideal partner?
Malgorzata Bieniaszewska (MB): TII is a benchmark name in heavy transport, globally respected for its engineering excellence. For us, it was an opportunity to prove that our fittings are not only leak-proof but also durable in some of the toughest working conditions. The fact that TII prioritizes reliability and customer trust aligns perfectly with our values.

What role does local availability in India play in MBP’s global strategy?
MB: We have always believed that a product is only as strong as the support behind it. By ensuring local stock and local engineering teams, we make sure that customers like TII don’t face delays. It is about being close to the market and being accountable.
Looking ahead, how do you see the partnership evolving?
MB: This is only the beginning. With TII India, we are not just supplying fittings; we are co-creating solutions. As they expand in India, we see ourselves working even more closely on innovations, tailored fittings, and stronger aftersales presence.
Beyond Parts, Toward Partnership
TII India’s partnership with MBP Fittings demonstrates how a supplier can become a trusted partner by combining high-quality products, zero-leakage performance, reduced assembly times, engineering support, custom solutions, and local supply security.
Together, they are setting new standards of reliability and customer focus for India’s commercial vehicle and transport industry. For India’s heavy transport industry, this partnership sets a new benchmark in reliability and customer focus, proof that precision, flexibility, and local presence can deliver real operational gains.
