At Excon 2025, Hidromas India made a strong statement about its next phase of growth. The company showcased its refreshed brand identity featuring bold blue and black colours along with a redesigned logo, signalling renewed confidence and long-term commitment. The booth highlighted a full range of hydraulic cylinders and tipping solutions, reinforcing Hidromas’ positioning as the “heart of every tipper” while also demonstrating its readiness to serve markets beyond India.

The company’s communication this year was simple: Hidromas is no longer in the build-up phase; it is in the expansion phase. Having established itself firmly in the Indian tipping solutions ecosystem, Hidromas India is now focusing on strengthening its market position as well as accelerating exports of India-manufactured cylinders to Europe and other regions.
“We believe this is the time to grow from strength to strength,” said Mr. Subhamoy Ghosh, Business Head, Hidromas India. “India is our foundation, but our vision is global. We are already exporting to Europe; and our next goal is to expand our customer base across continents.”
Modernised Plant; Higher Capacity; Ready for the World
Hidromas India has undergone extensive modernisation over the past two years. The company invested aggressively post-COVID when the market began showing signs of revival. The factory today has a capacity of nearly 4,500 cylinders per month, translating to more than 50,000 cylinders annually, with the ability to manufacture cylinders across a wide range of diameters and stroke lengths.
“This factory is prepared for global requirements; not just Indian demand,” Mr. Ghosh emphasised. “We modernised the plant, expanded capacity and upgraded our processes because we wanted to be ready for long-term, multi-market growth.”
Even though the last two years have been relatively soft for the tipper segment due to various economic factors, Hidromas has continued to rise in market share. The company today works with all leading Indian OEMs including BharatBenz, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, VECV and Mahindra. It is also increasingly becoming a preferred supplier for emerging EV commercial vehicle manufacturers.
“Market conditions may not always be perfect; but our ambition does not slow down,” added Mr. Ghosh. “We focused on expanding relationships and increasing our footprint; the dividends of this work will be realised in the coming years.”
High Localisation and Pan-India Service Network Drive Competitiveness
In a competitive and saturated tipping solutions market, Hidromas India differentiates itself with high localisation and a robust service ecosystem. The company has indigenised raw materials and components to a very high degree, building a reliable supplier base that helps maintain both cost competitiveness and product quality.
“To succeed in India, you must be cost competitive; and that happens only when your local content is strong,” said Mr. Ghosh. “Our suppliers have played a big role in this journey. They have supported us, trusted us and grown with us.”
Service is another key pillar of differentiation. As tipper trucks operate in remote, challenging terrains, Hidromas has created one of India’s largest service networks in its category, spanning 50+ locations from Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh to Kutch and Kanyakumari, covering all major tipping clusters and mining belts.
“Our network today reaches places where trucks work the hardest,” Mr. Ghosh explained. “This deep, wide service coverage is possible only because of our channel partners; they have been instrumental in supporting our customers.”
The company’s dual focus on cost optimisation and product support has allowed it to maintain strong traction in both domestic and export markets. Whether it is construction, infrastructure development or mining, Hidromas solutions are engineered to endure high pressures, heavy loads and continuous duty cycles.
Preparing for a Deeper Foray into Mining
While Hidromas is already present in mining applications through its OEM partnerships, the company is preparing for a significant new entry into the deep mining segment. A major mining-focused launch is expected soon, although the OEM partner cannot yet be revealed.
“We are on the verge of a very important announcement,” said Mr. Ghosh. “Hidromas products will soon enter deep mining applications in a big way; and this will further strengthen our position in high-demand, heavy-duty segments.”
With expanded capacity, a modern plant, rising export volumes, widespread domestic service coverage and upcoming mining-specific products, Hidromas India is entering 2025 with strong momentum and global aspirations. The company’s focus on localisation, reliability and customer support positions it as a future-ready partner for OEMs and fleet operators across India and beyond.
