This saves time and money.” The partnership with Goldhofer at BAUMA is an impressive demonstration of how the strengths of Goldhofer vehicles make them ideal for use with the HS 850. The Goldhofer »ARCUS« P is recommended for access by road, while the PST/SL-E with the E-PowerPack on show at this year’s BAUMA is the perfect solution for off-road locations. Michael Haid: “In terms of competence, TECO and Goldhofer are a perfect match. Our partnership enables us to offer customers even greater flexibility and efficiency,” says Haid, and he adds, “For transportation, we place the crane on a multi-axle low loader.” For off-road applications and working in confined spaces such as factories and tunnels, the HS 850 can also be mounted on Goldhofer’s precision-operated and highly flexible self-propelled heavy-duty modules, which offer even greater maneuverability thanks to a steering angle of ±135° and a suspension stroke of 600 mm.
Leading in the field of wind power: Goldhofer as an all-round provider
The Goldhofer RA 3-100 (4+7) on show at the exhibition is the ideal solution for the safe and efficient transportation of tower sections for the wind power industry. With a maximum payload of 100 tons and an impressive stroke of 2,000 mm, the RA 3-100 offers outstanding performance and flexibility. A chassis width of 2,950 mm guarantees excellent lateral stability for maximum safety on the move. Air suspension axles ensure load-friendly transportation, while ergonomic operation and maintenance-friendly design make for easy handling and a high standard of reliability. The free-turning devices and a rear steering system that can be adjusted to suit the length of the load provide optimum maneuverability, even with the largest and heaviest tower sections. For even safer and faster loading, Goldhofer uses a 4-point pick-up system with easy relocation of the clamping units. This makes loading and unloading a one-man operation without the use of a crane. Dennis Leschensky, Director Sales Europe / North Africa, says: “With the RA 3-100, we are setting a new benchmark in tower transportation. Our customers benefit from a high level of maneuverability and an uncomplicated system design that makes tower section transports safe and efficient.”

Since its launch at BAUMA 2022, the PST/SL-E split has established itself as a powerful addition to the fleet. This heavy-duty modular transporter offers unparalleled flexibility and performance, thanks also to its universal combinability within the entire Goldhofer heavy-duty module family. Whether the operation involves loads with a high center of gravity or large wind turbine components, the PST/SL-E split is the ideal solution for a wide range of transport requirements.
Jean-Philippe Martin, Director of Sales International Business, says: “The PST/SL-E split is a real game changer. The drive axle lines allow us to reduce the total number of axle lines required and increase transport performance at the same time. The result is lower fuel consumption and greater efficiency.”
One of the advantages of the PST/SL-E split is the ability to safely transport loads with a high center of gravity. “The vehicle’s widening system and hydraulic support circuits provide enhanced rollover stability, which is particularly invaluable when transporting challenging loads,” says Martin. With standard truck tires and a tried and tested operating system, the PST/SL-E split combines maximum flexibility with easy handling. Available in 4- and 6-axle versions and with optional accessories for 1+½ combinations, it is the ideal solution for a wide range of transport requirements, especially for transporting turbine blades for the wind power industry. The long-term potential of this transport concept in conjunction with the next generation of Goldhofer FTVs will be clearly demonstrated at BAUMA.
