BKT’s Standout Display at EXCON 2025: Heavy-Duty Tyres and Customer-Centric Solutions

At EXCON 2025, South Asia’s largest construction equipment expo held from 9–13 December 2025 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), BKT India made a strong impression with its pavilion that highlighted not just products but its commitment to performance and partnership in the construction, mining and off-road sectors. EXCON attracts global industry leaders, cutting-edge technologies, and heavy machinery from all over the world under the theme “Building India’s Tomorrow,” making it a must-attend event for OEMs, contractors, and solution providers.

At the BKT pavilion, the centerpiece was a massive wheel loader tyre, symbolising the company’s engineering strength and market position. This tyre, one of the largest in the BKT range, showcased the company’s capability to cater to demanding applications; and it drew significant attention from visitors throughout the five-day show.

Mr. Ashok P Chhajer, Sr. General Manager OE Sales at BKT, explained, “Our display at EXCON 2025 is not just about products; it’s about demonstrating our commitment to customers who operate in the toughest conditions. We want to show that BKT stands with them for productivity and reliability.” His emphasis was clear: BKT is showcasing solutions that address real challenges in construction and mining.

He added, “This wheel loader tyre behind us represents more than size; it represents the expertise we’ve built in off-road and specialty applications. We have completed our wheel loader lineup to meet diverse customer requirements.”

Focus on Solutions and Market Dynamics

Beyond its flagship tire, BKT’s pavilion reflected the company’s extensive off-road portfolio, including radial industrial, construction, agricultural, mining and solid pneumatic tyres that cater to different equipment categories and work environments.

Mr. Chhajer pointed out that BKT’s role goes beyond tyre manufacturing, “We see ourselves as a solutions provider. Whether a customer runs a fleet of loaders, dumpers, or specialised equipment, our designs are tailored to their application needs.” This customer-first approach was evident in the questions BKT’s team fielded from OEMs, equipment owners, fleet managers and project operators throughout the exhibition.

On the outlook for 2026 and current market conditions, Mr. Chhajer reflected on industry trends: “The industrial construction segment in India has had a stable 2025, similar to 2024; we’re hopeful that by late next year we’ll see stronger demand. There’s real optimism among customers for growth in the latter part of the financial year.”

Mr. Chhajer also shared insights into customer feedback at the show, “Customers are increasingly asking for durability and tailored performance. In both deep mining and off-road applications, they want tyres and service support that boost uptime and reduce operational costs, and that’s where BKT is focusing our efforts.”

Industry Context and EXCON Highlights

EXCON 2025 served as the backdrop for this dialogue, which brought a robust cross-section of national and international construction equipment players together. The exhibition featured more than 1,250 exhibitors and showcased next-generation sustainable construction technologies, digital solutions and electric or hybrid equipment for low-emission projects.

The expo also hosted a series of knowledge forums, panel discussions and networking platforms that emphasised digitalisation, decarbonisation and the future of infrastructure growth in India. For BKT, the pavilion offered not just product display space but a forum to engage with industry thought leaders, policymakers and customers on trends shaping the CE and off-road tyres ecosystem.

Mr. Chhajer summed up BKT’s participation by saying, “EXCON gives us the platform to connect with customers and industry peers at scale. Our message here is clear: we are investing in technology, service and partnerships that deliver greater value to every user of BKT tyres.”
