Proprietary New Brazed Aluminium Design to be Exported to North America Offers Improved Efficiency, Lower Pressure Drop, and Enhanced Durability in Heavy-Duty Truck Transmissions

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 served as an excellent platform for key industry players to showcase their innovations in the mobility sector. Among Tier 1 component manufacturers, a significant product reveal came from Alkraft Thermotechnologies, a thermal management company that introduced a Water-Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler as an alternative to conventional shell-and-tube oil coolers for heavy-duty trucks.
Alkraft’s Managing Director, Basil Siddeeqi, stated that their Transmission Oil Cooler offers higher heat transfer efficiency, lower oil-side pressure drop, and enhanced durability and cost-effectiveness due to its brazed aluminum construction and advanced core technologies. These advantages make it a superior option compared to traditional shell-and-tube coolers, particularly in the North American market, where the product will initially be supplied.
Cooling Solutions for Industrial Gensets
Alkraft also showcased its expertise in cooling systems for industrial gensets, ranging from 15 kVA to 2,600 kVA. Siddeeqi explained, “Our systems are designed to enhance efficiency and ensure long-term operational reliability for large gensets. Featuring proprietary high-efficiency tube-and-fin geometries, these systems provide improved heat dissipation within compact designs. With applications spanning engine-mounted and remote cooling systems, Alkraft’s solutions support the industry’s shift toward cleaner and more efficient power generation.”
Thermal Management for EVs
As the industry pivots toward the electrification of commercial vehicles, Alkraft presented its Traction Motor Cooling Systems (TMCS) and indigenous cold plate solutions for electric trucks, buses, and three-wheelers.

One of the key applications showcased was the TMCS for EV tipper trucks—a segment that faces specific thermal management challenges but can be electrified relatively easily due to its confined area of operation.
The company’s portfolio also includes stamped, inner-fin, stacked, and extruded aluminum cold plates, indigenously designed and manufactured to enhance EV battery efficiency and lifespan.
Next-Level Reliability in BS6 Diesel Engine Cooling
With BS6 diesel engines continuing to play a pivotal role in commercial transportation, Alkraft highlighted its proven track record of 100% reliability in this segment. The company’s BS6-compliant cooling solutions have demonstrated consistent performance with 100% targeted product life expectancy since their launch.

As regulations and standards evolve, Alkraft remains focused on developing durable and efficient thermal management systems that will meet future truck powertrain requirements, including cabin air conditioning systems.
Cooling Solutions for Alternative Fuel Engines
As alternative fuel powertrains gain traction, Alkraft showcased some of its advanced cooling systems for CNG and LNG engines. These custom-engineered solutions address the unique thermal challenges of alternative fuel powertrains, offering higher heat dissipation capacity within constrained spaces.
With commercial fleets increasingly incorporating alternative fuel vehicles, innovations in CNG/LNG engine cooling technology will play a crucial role in supporting this transition.
Integrated Cooling Systems for Armored Vehicles
Another standout highlight of Alkraft’s exhibit was its sophisticated cooling system for armored vehicles, integrating 10 heat exchangers within a single compact module.
Siddeeqi explained, “Developed for both domestic and international defense applications, this highly engineered system has been proven in high-ambient desert conditions at 55°C with heavy dust, demonstrating its ability to operate reliably in extreme environments.”
Advancing Mobility Through Thermal Innovation
Alkraft’s participation at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 underscored its critical contributions to thermal management across diverse mobility sectors. From heavy-duty trucks and industrial gensets to electric vehicles and defense applications, the company continues to develop innovative, efficient, and durable cooling solutions.
Siddeeqi concluded, “As the industry adapts to changing energy and environmental demands, innovations in thermal engineering will remain a crucial factor in shaping the next generation of mobility. This is where Alkraft is well-positioned to drive change and success for our OEM customers.”
