Scania expands Karnataka foothold with Mangaluru order

Having registered an impressive sales record in the premium bus segment, Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt Ltd. is rapidly expanding its customer portfolio in new geographies. This time it was Mangaluru in Karnataka. Scania delivered two 13.7 M premium Metrolink buses to renowned private fleet operator, Canara Pinto (Nityadara) Travels. Mr. Sivakumar, Director, Sales, Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd., handed over the bus keys to Mr. Sunil Pais, Managing Director, Canara Pinto (Nityadara) Travels, Mangaluru, in the presence of Mr. Abhayachandra Jain, Hon’ble Minister of Youth Welfare and Fisheries, Govt of Karnataka, Mr. Purushotham Chitrapura, Deputy Mayor, Mangaluru, and Mr. Ivan D’souza, Member of Legislative Council, Mangaluru. The Metrolink buses will run on important route connecting Bengaluru – Mumbai.

Canara Pinto (Nityadara) Travels is headquartered in Mumbai with regional offices in Mangaluru, Pune and Udupi. It is one of the front runners in offering long distance travel services.
