He said: “Our garage equipment are truly world class and are best suited for high-end trucks and passenger cars. We started business in Germany 12 years ago and are very successful now with the OEMs here like Mercedes Benz, BMW, VW and Audi in the luxury car segment. In Germany alone, we have 800 VW and Audi dealers who use our aligners and recommend them for others.”

For decades Hunter remains committed to building lasting relationships worldwide. As for its presence in the Indian market, “our equipments have been doing very well in the country, and the products are successfully marketed by Madhus Garage Equipments”, Mr. Adams added.

Explaining the functioning of the Hunter WinAlign HD alignment systems which was a star attraction at the IAA Fair, he said the equipments operate with six sensors and are in a position to align three axles simultaneously. The sensor heads use radio frequency waves instead of cables, which are connected to the main console, with batteries which last for nearly eight hours. When it comes to heavy duty software, WinAlign HD is unmatched. While vehicle-specific procedures guide your technicians with step-by-step instructions, patented power tools operate the work accurately.

Hunter’s new DSP760T heavy-duty alignment sensors reduce set-up time and provide perfect alignment readings. Previous set-ups used valuable shop time, whereas today results are obtained in just four minutes. It is also possible to check tire wear angles in under three minutes.

The company’s battery-operated pusher easily moves the vehicle for accurate rolling compensation. Standard wheel clamps allow clamping of wheels 15-28” in diameter.

Optional HD PowerSlide turnplates automatically lock and unlock and allow garages to align heavy-duty vehicles on the floor or with a truck rack.
