NürnbergMesse, headquartered in Nürnberg, Germany, is one of the 15 largest exhibition companies in the world and among the top 10 in Europe. Its portfolio covers over 120 national and international exhibitions and congresses worldwide in the niche segments, nearly 10 of which have their focus on the automotive sector. The organiser has subsidiaries in China, North America, Brazil, Italy and India.

Interacting with MOTORINDIA in Bangalore recently, Mr. Rolf Keller, Member of Management Board, NürnbergMesse, spoke on the company’s subsidiary in India and its focus on the market. He said: “We started NürnbergMesse India a few years ago. This is the first time we are here in this country. We are glad to be the event producers for the sixth edition of ALUCAST 2014 in Bangalore and hope to further contribute to the success of this event with our expertise and network.”

ALUCAST 2014 held every alternate year is India’s biggest platform for the aluminium castings industry and its numerous stakeholders across the country. The accompanying training programmes and high-level conferences evoke very good response. Over the past decade, the Indian die casting industry has seen modernising and increasing production capacities. The industry has grown phenomenally and is said to be the global supply hub for all auto giants.

ALUCAST has signed an understanding with NürnbergMesse for the first time ever, with both organisations bringing the best of their knowhow to make the event the most-sought-after platform for the die casting industry.

NürnbergMesse has brought in its domain knowledge and network from EUROGUSS, an international trade fair for die casting. The group is committed to pave the way for German and European die casting foundries keen on establishing business connections in the Asian market.

“We have had a comfortable experience in the country and hope to further penetrate in this field”, said Mr. Keller.
