ViscoTec GmbH enters India with new subsidiary

ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH, the German engineering major, has just opened its fourth subsidiary worldwide, in Pune, known as ViscoTec India Pvt. Ltd. The other three subsidiaries are in the US, Singapore and Shanghai.

The branch in India was started in conjunction with the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and this is where the office of ViscoTec India is located. The branch is mainly planned as a sales and service organization with the objective of opening up new markets. “It is not only important to realize our objective of internationality, but above all to foster proximity to the customers as a local contact and to expand the range of services”, explains Georg Senftl, Managing Director of ViscoTec GmbH.

Vivek Ghewari, Branch Manager, starts his own career at ViscoTec along with the Indian branch. A mechanical engineer, he completed a 3-year management trainee program at Continental. When looking for a German company in India where he can prove his technical ability as well as his management skill, he got an opportunity to join ViscoTec.

ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH manufactures systems required for conveying, dosing, applying, filling and emptying medium to high-viscosity fluids. The technological leader is headquartered in Töging a. Inn (Bavaria).

Next to technically sophisticated solutions to even the most complicated application, ViscoTec is the single point of contact to deliver all components for a complete system, from emptying to preparing and to dosing. This guarantees successful interaction of all components. All fluids showing a viscosity of up to 7.000.000 mPas can be conveyed and dosed almost pulsation-free and with extremely low shear.
