Mr. Harvinder Bhatia has taken over as the Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at BITZER India, succeeding Robert de Bruyn who is returning to Australia where he will continue to act as a consultant on key projects carried out by BITZER Australia.
With his office located in Mumbai, Mr. Harvinder Bhatia has worked for BITZER India for nine years and, most recently, has been employed as Director.
Following the shift in management staff at BITZER India, there will also be some changes to the corporate structure: the sales regions of India and South-East Asia will be structurally separated, to facilitate even more dedicated market adherence and to further improve customer services locally in these key growing regions. Up until now, business partners in India have been looked after by BITZER Refrigeration Asia, but in the future will be served directly by BITZER India.
There are further changes in management at the two companies. Luca Bernini is the new Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at BITZER Refrigeration Asia, whilst Ang Chin Leong has been appointed the new Managing Director of Finance at BITZER India and BITZER Refrigeration Asia. Located in Singapore, the two Managing Directors are responsible for PT BITZER Compressors Indonesia and BITZER Malaysia as well as for the representative offices in Thailand and Vietnam. Ang Chin Leong will also be in charge of local human resources and IT decisions.
