Speaking to MOTORINDIA, Mr. Navin CC, Founder, Megh Neel Renewable Power Systems Pvt. Ltd., observes: “Our Company has been working on renewable energy systems for over the past three years. Our primary focus being micro wind turbines and battery-operated electric vehicles, we have been working on our Android e-Scooter for more than 18 months with the main objective of offering a clean high-tech e-Scooter completely designed and made in India. By leveraging the smart phone features, we completely did away with redundant components like the dashboard, physical keys and knobs. The e-Scooter is of clean and simple styling”. Referring to the battery technology, he says: “There has been a great deal of research going on in this field, and there are promising, inexpensive alternatives to Lithium-Ion batteries. We are keen to adopt fuel cell batteries which are safe and cost-effective and offer high energy density. “We expect to roll out our initial 250 watts shortly, followed by our 750 watts model. This is just the beginning of things to come, and we will follow it up with more models”, he adds.
