Rane Brake Lining Ltd. (RBL), of the Rane Group has been ranked one of the top “Best Workplaces” in India for the second year in a row by the Great Place to Work Institute. This year it has been ranked third in the auto component industry.

“At RBL we believe in Total Employee Involvement in each and every aspect of the business.  We strive towards providing an environment of trust and bringing new dimensions at our work place to create an environment in which one can contribute and have a sense of achievement too”, says Mr. P.S. RBL was rated on pillars such as employee trust, pride, engaging work environment, open communication, innovative training programs and leadership development opportunities. These are some of the key aspects that make it one of the top places to work. A pivotal value at RBL is the appreciative culture that creates an engaging work environment. A practice towards this value is that the company employees exchange smiley cards as a token of gratitude, respect and thanksgiving across shop-floor and function levels unbound by hierarchy or reporting structures. On similar lines is the “Subodhyam”, a daily intra-team morning meeting for information sharing and open appreciations.

“At Rane Group we are picking up pace with the new work ethos to co-create and implement organizational strategies for driving profitable business growth. Our focus is on inspiring the best of talents to take on challenging assignments, and promoting a spirit of intrapreneurship”, says Mr. R. Venkatanarayanan, President – Human Resources, Rane Group.
