HELLA India Lighting gladly presented the one of a kind idea of Hella Heels ‘N’ Wheels through an all-Women’s Car Rally along with its co-organizers Radisson Blu Dwarka and Dwarka City News Paper. The event was organized on 27th August 2017 at Dwarka, putting the limelight on the reason that the organization is extremely energetic about “Spreading the Awareness around Road Safety”.
HELLA Heels ‘N’ Wheels Women’s Car Rally is a movement of the attempt of advancing street security by focusing on the developing number of drivers among ladies who are Car Enthusiasts. Hella takes an interest in different configurations of Motor Sports in India, essentially centering to spread safe driving propensities among road users. This organization expects to welcome apprentices to the universe of Motor Sports through a sensational learning of TSD (Time Speed Distance) idea and appreciates the networking dinner of like-minded safety conscious women during the entertainment module of the evening event.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Rama Shankar Pandey, MD, HELLA India Lighting Ltd. said, “Millions of Indians drive every day on Indian Roads and 400 of them never comeback home, this can’t be left unattended and we can’t only depend on governments and authorities. We need people’s movement to arrest this alarming level of road accidents and deaths. We at Hella being the leader in Visibility Safety Space thought that every women safety volunteer joining our movement has the minimum personal capacity to educate, influence and inspire at least 4-5 citizens in her family and hence the idea of Hella Heels ‘N’ wheels took birth”.
Heels’ N Wheels First Women’s Night Car Rally at JLN Marg, Jaipur, focused on celebrating womanhood, building strong community of Women Road Safety warriors across India. Herein, the participants decorated their cars and the winners were announced according to whose car and costume is best dressed or decorated. The event was not less than a wedding wherein all the participants were dressed and were enthusiastic for the rally route and lighting display. As the event was held at night, it had the message of how to drive safely at night. Later in the night, the enjoyable ride was followed by gala entertainment and Awards Ceremony with these courageous women.
These events are an expression of Hella’s India Lighting’s vision of bringing “Technology of Tomorrow for the Life of Today”, on Indian Roads. Hella expects all the Car Enthusiasts to join the Hella Safety Awareness Program and contribute to the goal of making India free from all avoidable road deaths.
