Gabriel India announces changes in Board of Directors

In addition to the induction of Mrs. Anjali Anand Singh as its new Chairperson, the Board of Gabriel India Ltd., has also announced several changes at the Board level to strengthen corporate governance, bring in a global perspective and an enhanced focus on technology.

Mr. Pradipta Sen and Dr. Arun Jaura have been inducted as new independent Directors at the recent Board meeting.

Mr. Pradipta Sen is the President for India, Middle East and the Africa region of Emerson, a Fortune 500 conglomerate involved in manufacturing products and engineering services for multiple industry sectors, including power, oil & gas, engineering and automotive.

Along with his current role at Emerson, Mr. Sen, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from BITS, Pilani, sits on the Boards of various Emerson subsidiary companies like Emerson Process Management India Pvt. Ltd., Emerson Climate Technologies Ltd., etc.

Dr. Arun Jaura is currently serving as Managing Director and Senior Partner, TRAKTION Mgmt Services Pvt. Ltd., and is also on the Board of Directors of SAE International, USA, and Chairman of the SAE India Automotive Board. Apart from these roles, he is also associated with various industry and Government bodies such as member on the Board of National Mission on Electric Mobility and member of the Technical Advisory Group constituted by MOHI and DST on Electric & Hybrid Mobility, and as CSIR Council member for Advanced Materials and Climate Change Technologies.

Mr. Rajeev Vasudeva, Mr. HR Prasad and Mr. Gurdeep Singh are stepping down from the Gabriel India Board as independent members.
