The second edition of the International Commercial Vehicle Fair 2014 organized by Edge Shows held in Chennai during October 10-12 ended on a positive note despite the falling trend in commercial vehicle sales. The success of the show was by and large due to the full support of the industry associations not only from Tamil Nadu but all across India.

The show attracted major participants like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher, AMW, Apollo Tyres, Michelin Tyres, Continental Tyres, BPCL, Kalyani Hayes Lemmerz Ltd. and Palfinger Cranes India Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Bhim Wadhwa, President, All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC), who inaugurated the show, complimented the organisers for successfully conducting the second edition of the CV fair in Chennai.

Representatives from various associations also praised the organisers for taking a keen interest in organising the show for the benefit of bus and truck operators.

A few seminars on issues related to the CV industry were also conducted during the event.
