Lumax Auto Technologies participated in the exhibition with a host of lighting solutions for the bus and coach industry.
Part of the D.K. Jain Group, the company is supplying lighting-related products to OEMs in the CV segment, including Volvo, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, SML Isuzu, Force Motors, Daimler India, Piaggio and VECV.
“Our mission here at the Busworld is targeting all leading bus body and coach builders pan India”, said Mr. Bharat Bhushan, DGM – NPD and Marketing. The footfall at the expo was phenomenal this time, with a lot of product-specific enquiries from potential customers visiting the expo.
Lumax’s list of bus-specific lighting products includes LED revolving lights, bar lights, conventional headlamps, tail lamps, safety reflectors, roof lights, and a wide range of electric bulbs for bus applications.
“Especially for coach builders, we are retro-fitting conventional truck and bus headlamp assemblies with integrated day-time running lights (DRLs), which are visually appealing and affordable at the same time”, Mr. Bhushan added.
All Lumax lighting offerings are ICAT and CIRT approved. The company leverages its existing channel partners numbering over 400 across the country to market bus-specific products.
The company also revealed that new telematics and GPS tracking products for trucks and buses are on the anvil, born out of a new joint venture with the Israel-based Ituran Location and Control.
