CAMOFLEX to double wiper systems capacity

Camoflex displayed its new generation wiper products at the show. When we interacted with Mr. Maninder Singh Mago, C.M.D., Camoflex Wiper Systems, he said, “We have recently introduced Wiper Motors with rain sensors for commercial vehicles along with a new range of hybrid flat wiper blades on the back of our 35 years of experience in the field of wiper manufacturing.”

“These wiper motors, linkages, transmissions, wiper arms, wiper blades & washer bottles have been tested at our in-house laboratory for endurance, function, corrosion resistance, fatigue & other parameters as per domestic & international standards.” he added.

With growing awareness towards quality products, which Mr. Mago owes to the entry of premium players like Volvo, wiper systems are getting their due respect as an important safety equipment.

“People have realized the importance of wipers and are ready to ensure the right quality; wipers are not considered as an aesthetic product but as a life-saving kit. Hence to ensure premium quality we have invested in an in-house lab for layout inspection, testing of rubber properties, paint adhesion, corrosion and motor-testing facilities like sound chamber, torque tests, vibration tests and many more endurance tests.” he said.

“We take pride in stating that our high-quality wiper systems are able to meet the requirements and specifications of our valued customers both in India and overseas. We are living up to the ‘make in India’ narrative,” beamed Mr. Mago.

In order to cater to the growing demand, Camoflex is mulling expansion. “Currently we are manufacturing 3000-4000 wiper systems per month. We are looking to double the capacity because people are really appreciating our brand. They are delighted with our services as we have the capability to give customized products as per ARAI guidelines with complete testing and validation. Our renewed focus on exports as well as the car market will need us to produce more and hence capacity expansion is a must,” he concluded.
