Neeta Travels is one among the most popular in the tours and travels segment today. The Maharashtra-based company has over two decades of experience in transportation and serves a large number of travellers every year. The company currently operates in over 170 destinations in seven States – Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

neetatravels-sunilsavla-pic-1Speaking about the company’s plans in the near future, Mr. Sunil Savla, Founder, Neeta Travels, said: “We are planning to cover three more States and make sure we have our presence in 50 major cities and over 200 destinations. We plan to add more routes in major states covering IT hubs, metro cities, pilgrimage centers, hill stations, and so on.”

Mr. Savla also said that they plan to expand their operations by setting up branches in places where there is a lack of high-quality transportation service. They plan to increase their fleet strength from 130 to 200 vehicles in the near future. They also plan to grow by 20% to 30% in terms of overall revenue by 2020.

Throwing light on the company’s roadmap to achieve their targets for 2020, he stated that they always rely on their customers’ feedback to understand and cater to their specific needs. For instance, realizing the need for hygienic food, clean toilets, and comfortable lounges for travellers, they have set up two hotels – Neeta’s Inn in Lonawala and Pushkar Mela Resort in Thane. The hotels have round-the-clock service, great food, and comfortable rooms for the benefit of travellers and drivers.

Encouraged by the positive response it has received so far, Neeta Travels is planning to open more hotels in places like Shirdi, Mahabaleshwar, and Goa. They are also planning to upgrade their present establishments to meet the demands of their customers.

According to the Founder, the company’s key focus areas until 2020 include: Ticket Booking: Neeta Travels has its own booking portal – neetabus.in – and has also joined hands with major e-ticketing players like redbus.in, makemytrip.com, and via.com to make the process of booking tickets easier for customers from around the world.

Fleet expansion: Neeta Travels has Indian brands like Tata and Leyland as well as international brands like Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Scania and Isuzu in their fleet. All the coaches are equipped with the best shock absorbers and the latest AV entertainment options. They are also planning to add 20 new coaches to their fleet in the near future.

Leisure-time activities: The company has joined hands with some of the biggest names in the entertainment and recreation industry like Adlabs, Della, and Wet N Joy and arranges a wide range of leisure-time activities like picnics, excursions, and group outings for people of all ages.

Environmental protection: Neeta Travels has planted 1,000 trees at its Pushkar Mela Resort in Thane. It is also planning to shortly plant another 1,000 trees in and around its properties. It has recently added a bio-gas fuelled vehicle to the fleet on a trial-run basis to tackle air pollution.
