King Kaveri Trading Company (KKTC), supplier of trailers, semi-trailers and related accessories from the globally-renowned Fuwa brand in the Indian market, has been a regular exhibitor at Auto Expo since 2004 and was part of the Component Show this year.

Talking about the show and the country’s trailer industry status, Mr. Suresh Kumar Arora, Managing Partner, KKTC, says: “For us, participating in the show is mainly for brand building. We have had a good show this year with only genuine customers walking in. Though the last two years have been very bad for the Indian trailer industry, this being an election year, everyone is waiting for the poll results and for the policies of the new Government coming to power at the Centre. But, from a broad perspective, India is a highly potential trailer market, so we definitely see the market getting better soon. There are many old trailers running on Indian roads which have to be replaced in the near future, and this will provide a good opportunity for the trailer manufacturers and component suppliers.”

KKTC is bringing in superior products and technologies which could drive growth when the market gets out of the current slowdown. The company is coming up with new axles with seal hubs and also expects its air-suspensions business to pick up with the improving infrastructure in the country.

KKTC has also introduced Fuwa’s new drive axles and has started offering the new product to OEM customers for trucks, buses and trailers in the Indian market.
