Sharing details, Mr. Sudhir Chaudhary, General Manager – Sales, Hyva (India) Pvt. Ltd., says: “The economy is growing and is expected to continue with many new road construction projects coming up. The efficiency of the machines and equipment used by contractors would play a crucial role in completion of the projects on time, with better machines being incentivized to achieve quicker results. Hyva India is working on a project under which we are developing products that are a lot more productive than the conventional ones and plan to launch them in the next 18 to 24 months’ time.”

The company is focusing on improving the overall efficiency of the tipping system by making it more intelligent and feature-packed with a view of helping its OEM customers deliver a better product and offer a superior solution for the end-users.

“We are working on enhancing the integration between the hydraulics and the tipper body in order to make the whole tipping system more efficient. We are adding new models which will help the hydraulics sense the tipping condition and the operating environment and assist in terms of controlling the operations and intervene to make the system safer and more productive”, explains Mr. Chaudhary.

Hyva had recently launched its fifth generation Alpha range of cylinders which promise unmatched performance and reliability. While the company is continuously innovating towards helping reduce the downtime for tipper operators, it is also working on light-weighting the tipper body to enable customers carry more load.

Innovation is the key to success and being the market leader we would be bringing in many innovations in the next couple of years which would help us hold on to our leadership position. We will be touching a turnover of Rs. 1,000 crores in three years thanks primarily to our new products and the buoyant economy. The market size for tippers in India is around 40,000 units annually and by 2020 it should reach 50,000 units of which we aim to have around 50 per cent market share”, he signs off.
