Schaeffler India Automotive Aftermarket
Schaeffler India Automotive Aftermarket started its journey in 90’s from the LuK plant at Hosur, located at the South of India as LuK Aftermarket Services. Today, headquartered in Mumbai, the company has its network of distribution partners located at close to 300 locations covering all major towns and cities in the country. Its distributor partners provide service to roughly 16,800 retailers who in turn cater around 42,000 mechanics spread across India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
Four strong brands
With its brands LuK, INA, FAG and Ruville, Schaeffler India Automotive Aftermarket stands for pronounced customer orientation, innovative power and superior quality. With four brands, a wide range and variety of products are serviced to the markets, around the drivetrain in passenger cars and commercial vehicles: from the engine over the accessory drive and the transmission to the chassis.
The product range of the LuK brand includes a complete program of clutches and applied solutions, such as RepSet or RepSet Pro, complemented by dual mass flywheels and release systems. In addition, LuK specializes in spare parts for the clutch environment for passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the 2.8 t to 40 t range, buses and agricultural tractors, along with power steering and vacuum pumps.
The INA brand supplies replacement parts for engine and transmission for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and buses. Alongside single belt drive components for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, also tension roller SETs and KITs are available. This comprehensive range of replacement parts is rounded off by valve tappets, rocker arms and finger followers for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
The aftermarket specialists have everything for easy replacement of wheel bearings with its FAG portfolio that includes precision and reliable wheel bearings and complex bearing modules – from the FAG WheelSet to the FAG WheelPro for replacing wheel bearing at both ends of a single axle, to wheel bearing repair solutions for light commercial vehicles and the FAG RIU (Repair Insert Unit) for heavy commercial vehicles.
Under the brand of Ruville, the division supplies steering and suspension parts for passenger cars, light and heavy commercial vehicles and have plans to add a wide range of components to offer repair solutions. With the increasing vehicle population in Indian market, the automotive aftermarket team continues to work with its global sales and supply chain network on enlarging OE quality portfolio of products and services offered to all levels of customers, car parts distributors, garages and car owners.
