Even though the domestic tourism and travel industry has hit a speedbreaker, Mann Tourist Transport Service Private Ltd. (MTTSPL) is charged up with its expansion plans involving addition of new vehicles to its existing fleet and setting up branches across the length and breadth of the country. The company, which specialises in corporate travelling, has witnessed a double-digit growth in its business for the last few years and is hoping for the same in the next few years. The company is also into domestic tourism, albeit on a small scale. MANN, which has 60-odd buses in its existing fleet, will be ramping up the count further to 100 by 2016.

Speaking to MOTORINDIA, Mrs. Parmjeet Mann, Director, MTTSPL, said: “We provide 24/7 luxury ground transportation services for major destinations in NCR and other cities. We are known for providing our clients with safe and reliable, world-class service with the most luxurious fleet of vehicles comprising luxury cars and luxury coaches that are chauffeured by professionally-trained drivers. Our pricing is very competitive, and we offer special rates to our high volume clients. What stands us apart is that we do not operate on set routes but our clients decide their own destination and book our cars or buses on a rental basis. We are majorly offering Corporate Travel Management (CTM) services, a concept now adopted by a majority of Fortune 500 companies for better cost management for their travel requirements. MANN-Volvo-pic-1MANN-Isuzu-pic-3In fact, 80 per cent of our business is derived from CTM and the balance comes from tourism. Fortunately, we are experiencing a continuous growth in our business and that is why we are expanding across the country. We will be setting up branches in the major cosmopolitan and metropolitan cities in the medium term and will also be buying high-end buses from the OEMs to cater to our additional client base.”

It may be recalled that Mr. Amrit Mann, founder and Co-Director of the firm, started Mann with a single vehicle. Over a period of time, he kept on adding to the fleet. His hard work started paying and business began flourishing. Soon there was an unprecedented demand for travelling. Mrs. Mann joined the company in 1998-99. From a handful of vehicles in the initial phase, the Delhi-based firm currently has around 200 vehicles in its fleet with many high-end buses of premium brands such as Volvo, Mercedes Benz, VW Crafter buses, SML Isuzu buses, Toyota Commuters, etc.

They are well versed with the products’ technical properties like air suspension, cooling systems, ventilation and other features. They want the best-of-the-product and don’t mind paying a bit extra for that.”

The company clients include some of the marquee brands like Mico, HCL, Mitsubishi, Alstom, World Bank, AT&T, Universal Aviation, Standard Chartered Bank, Pinkerton, embassies of different countries, BCCI and some of the IPL teams.

“Our clients enjoy professional service and unmatched quality in everything from our vehicles to tour management. Our vehicles are serviced regularly and maintained to provide safety and utmost comfort. Our car fleet is vast, encompassing everything from mid-segment cars to luxurious cars, premium coaches and even limousines. Our diversity enables clients to choose vehicles that meet their needs completely and accurately, taking care of their budgets,” stated Mrs. Mann.

Meanwhile, the ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 certified company is looking to tie up with new MNCs in other cities when it expands its footprint outside NCR.

“We are the leading transport and tourist service provider in Delhi, duly approved by the Department of Tourism and Delhi Tourism. Our ultimate goal is to ensure customer delight, comfort and safety, as well as holding on to our professional and timely services, following structured administration for Total Quality Management (TQM), providing total solutions to corporate travel requirements, maintaining our ultimate motto in achieving 100 per cent client satisfaction”, she added.
