International Tyre Service, popularly-known as ITS, is a pioneer in the field of tyre distribution with its experience of more than 40 years. Established in 1972 in the heart of Mount Road, Chennai, ITS has been recognised as a company which mainly focuses on the customer. Though there are several players in the field, what attracts customers to ITS is its purely transparent and customer-oriented approach.
In a casual chat with MOTORINDIA, Mr. S. Dinesh Chordia, son of the company Founder, Sarbat Chordia, said even during times of excessive demand, his company used to sell tyres at the prevalent normal rate without any premium. This practice, strictly followed by the Founder since inception, is indeed the guiding principle for the present generation.
Currently, ITS sells most of the leading tyre brands like Michelin, Apollo, MRF, JK, etc. Its outlets are strategically located at Gopalapuram and Korattur in the city.
Mr. Dilip Chordia, Mr. Dinesh’s elder brother, with wide experience in the tyre industry, looks after the overall operations of the company outlets.
