Eicher annual dealer conference in Shanghai sets high expectations for 2015

Eicher Trucks and Buses organised its 28th annual dealer conference in Shanghai during March 12-15. The conference had nearly 300 participants, including dealers from domestic/export markets and senior sales and marketing team and top management of Eicher Trucks and Buses.

The theme of the conference was “YOUNITED BY PROMISE” which was inspired by the GO-PRO philosophy of Eicher Trucks and Buses and revolved around “Promise to customers”. The opening keynote address by the CEO, Mr. Vinod Aggarwal, set the conference rolling. This was followed by presentations by Mr. A.K. Birla, Executive Vice President, and other senior leaders on the achievements / initiatives in 2014 and the expectations in 2015. The dealer success stories, subsequently shared by domestic and overseas dealers, were both interesting and informative.

The conference provided an opportunity for the company and channel partners to deliberate on Eicher’s preparedness to take up the challenge through clear direction, concrete plans and on-ground activities.

In the lively open session, the delegates raised queries and gave some valuable suggestions on various issues. On the other hand, the employees took the opportunity to receive the feedback, suggestions, recommendations and concerns from the dealer partners to further improve and strategize their future actions.

The evening session included the most eagerly awaited award ceremony for both domestic and overseas dealers. It was time to recognize Eicher’s channel partners for their exceptional achievements in 2014.

The winners received their well-deserved awards from Mr. Vinod Aggarwal. The top honours went to PSN Automotive Marketing Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, for Overall Best Performance in Large Markets, VG Automobiles, Baroda, for Overall Best Performance in Medium Markets, and Talwar Auto Garages Pvt. Ltd. for highest volumes.
