Bridgestone has announced the inauguration of the Select Super Concept Store “Rao Tyres” at Tambaram in Chennai on August 7. The store was formally inaugurated by Mr. Ajay Sevekari, Director-HR & Logistics, Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd.
The Bridgestone Concept store aims to revolutionize the tyre buying experience, with an ardent focus on safety, reliability and eco-friendliness.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sevekari observed: “The Concept store which we are introducing as a part of our aggressive expansion strategy initiative will add a new dimension to the retailing of tyres in the region through our unique business model of safety, reliability and environment-friendly norms that will be adhered to through our direct and indirect business operations. The Concept store, besides having our complete product range and services, will offer a new experience in tyre buying for customers. It will also be backed by the well-informed staff that understands the nuances of consumer requirements.”
Every component in the Select Super Concept store is specially designed to make it optimally safe for everyone entering it. Equipped with various products like the Run Flat Tyre (RFT), Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and the Tyre Safety booklets for the customers, the overall idea is to spread the safety message to everyone.
To ensure reliability and trustworthiness for the customer, maximum transparency is provided in all transactions and operations in terms of products along with their pricing, services and service info chart displayed at the store.
In its endeavor to save and protect the environment Bridgestone has used Ecopia (eco-friendly tyres), eco-friendly paints, energy saving lights, lead-free weights for tyre balancing, etc.
Besides showcasing Bridgestone’s complete product range tyre store will provide services like tyre changer / RFT changer, tyre balancing, tyre alignment, nitrogen, AC top-up battery, oil dispencer, battery check-up and rim straightener.
The company also inaugurated another new exclusive Select store at Bijapur in Karnataka. The Select showroom was formally inaugurated on August 27 by Mr. M.B. Patil, Karnataka Minister for Irrigation, in the presence of Mr. P.G. Rajeev, Regional Sales Manager of the company.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajeev observed: “We are back with yet another customer-friendly, smart and stylized store equipped with a wide product range and modern services to offer. Select is a unique retail channel concept of a quality store which promises the customers a better and unique buying experience.”
The Select outlet christened “Bagali Tyres” covering 965 sq.ft. has several special features such as a customer-friendly environment, smart and stylized interiors, unparalleled customer service and a wide product range, displays and designs. The products and services available at the store include 3D wheel alignment, computerised wheel balancing, automatic tyre changing and nitrogen alloys.
Bridgestone aims to further leverage these concept stores by introducing them across other markets nationally.
